Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7Our church life is sustained and enriched by the generosity that we receive from so many people. Time, effort, skill, and expertise are all so appreciated, and make our benefice a wonderful and welcoming witness to Christ. Financial generosity, too, is of course necessary. Ministry is costly, and church upkeep, too, is costly. To give financially, regularly, to the church helps sustain our mission to love and serve God and the people in our communities. We are hugely grateful for all that is given. Will you, please, prayerfully review your planned giving in the light of the needs of the church? As well as other costs that have to be paid the greatest cost is our annual Parish Share requirements.
Our benefice parish Giving Scheme (PGS) links are all below*. PGS is a free giving service that allows parishioners to donate to their church with 100% of their donation going to their beneficiary, plus Gift Aid where eligible. Fr David
