Come and join us for this double celebration of two important saints. St Chad was the brother of St Cedd, and both of them were trained by St Aidan of Lindisfarne. Chad became bishop of Lichfield. St Alcuin was a pupil at the York School which was renowned for its learning in the liberal arts, literature and science as well as theology, and he ended up working for the emperor Charlemagne in Aachen and was famous for his teaching. Chad died in 672 AD, Alcuin in 809 AD.

St Michael and all Angels' is a friendly multicultural church located in the heart of Walthamstow, very close to the vibrant high street.

We are no longer in interregnum at St Michael's and warmly welcome Canon Fred Ashford-Okai, our new priest in charge.  

We would like to thank all of those who have supported St Michaels during our interregnum helping us reach and grow our church community, and look forward to growing even more.
