We are an active church community of all ages and outlooks, and would be delighted to welcome you into our church. For those looking for a classic medieval church in the unspoilt rural idyll of North Essex your search will be rewarded. St Mary is a medieval grade 1 listed church, dating from the 11th Century.

We host high quality Chamber Concerts, providing a platform for some of the best young classical musicians to play in our community. These are non-profit making and as well as making use of our historic building and allowing us to enjoy an almost spiritual connection with the highest calibre of music, they encourage the careers of young professional musicians. These are typically run in the first quarter, full details can be found at http://www.wethersfieldchamberconcerts.org.uk/
The church has an active bell ringing community who meet twice-weekly.
Also nearby there is Boydells farm which is a working farm, which is open to the public.
