The main Sunday service starts at 11.15 am. and the church is usually open from about 10.30am to 1pm.
Getting here
Green Park St. James Church is adjacent to Green Park and St. John Bosco Primary Schools on Green Lane, Maghull. The Google map isn't quite pointing to the church but it's better than it used to be! The drive up to the church is immediately after the school fence.
If you are not familiar enough with Green Park to find your way through, it is probably better to approach from the end of Green Lane opposite the shops between the Coach and Horses and High Pastures Surgery. Cross over the canal and continue down the lane. There is only one road on the left, Green Link, and the schools then the church are immediately after and also on your left.
