Accessibility
Two in our church hall, as well as a third (accessible toilet) and an accessible toilet in our main church building.
There are Baby Changing facilities in both the main church building and in the church hall
There is parking available in the church grounds, as well as the surrounding roads

There is a car park on site, accessed from Beachborough Road to the rear of the church.
We have a portable ramp that can be placed in position at the main entrance to the church.
We have large print service booklets, reading sheets and hymn books

Music and Worship
With regular Monthly Lunchtime Recitals (except in August) - on the last Friday of each month at 1pm. Free admission, with retiring collection. Refreshments.
Evensong held throughout the year at published times.
The organ at St John's is a classic example of the late 19th century. The organ was built in 1878 by Alfred Hunter and then rebuilt by Mander in 1948.

St John's choir consists of dedicated singers of all ages.
Our Organist and Director of Music is Mr Jack Stone.
Groups, Courses and Activities
Pre-Covid, we had a Youth Group that met twice each month. This is currently still suspended.

We meet in the Church Hall on the First Friday of each month, from 10.30am to 12 noon. Tea/Coffee & biscuits. Scrabble, cards, chat.
We hold occasional Messy Saints meetings throughout the year
Mothers' Union meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 1.30pm (for approximately 1hr 30minutes)
We have a Senior Social Club for those aged 60+. We meet on the last Thursday of each month* in the Church Hall from 1.30pm to 3pm.
* In December we meet one week earlier than usual, for a pre-Christmas party.
