St John's Church in Farsley is a diverse, lively, energetic and enthusiastic congregation, committed to caring for the spiritual, pastoral and social growth of its people, with a strong presence in our community. 

We aim to serve all God’s children in worship, pastoral care and everyday life, offering a caring and nurturing environment for all to get to grow in the love of Christ. As we spread the good news of Christ through evangelism and good discipleship, we are always looking to invite new people into church as well as reaching out into our community and serving those in our neighbourhood.

Join us for a pancake party in the church hall as we get ready for the start of Lent. Everyone's welcome from 4:30pm on Tuesday 17 February in the Church Hall. We can't wait to see what your favourite pancake toppings are!

New curate joining St John's this summer

We are delighted to announce that a new curate will be joining us at St John's later this summer. Dr Joanna Leidenhag will be our Assistant Curate working as a new self-supporting minister following her ordination in July.
