Lent 2025 begins with a Service of Holy Communion at 7pm on Ash Wednesday, 5th March 2025. Please join us here at St Ambrose Church in Grindleton for this service which will include the opportunity for "Ashing", the cross is marked on our foreheads using the ashes of burnt palm crosses.

St Ambrose Church, Grindleton

We are a friendly rural church situated in the heart of Grindleton village, serving the parish of Grindleton and Sawley. Our church is part of a United Benefice with St Mary the Virgin Church Gisburn and St Peter and Paul's Church Bolton-by-Bowland.

Our services lean towards the traditional in style and all are very welcome to worship with us, whatever your background, age or outlook.
