Do you know what connects Gisburn Church to the Titanic, the Lancashire Witches, a famous spelling mistake in the 1600s and a well loved hymn tune? Come and find out at our free Church Open Day on Saturday, 27th September 2025!
Open from 11am to 3pm your visit could include tours of the church, vault and tower. A highlight will be a talk from local historian Dr Katy Sherry taking place at 11:30am ~ all are welcome!

St Ambrose Church, Grindleton

We are a friendly rural church situated in the heart of Grindleton village, serving the parish of Grindleton and Sawley. Our church is part of a United Benefice with St Mary the Virgin Church Gisburn and St Peter and Paul's Church Bolton-by-Bowland.

Our services lean towards the traditional in style and all are very welcome to worship with us, whatever your background, age or outlook.
