Welcome to St. Peter's Church.

We are a community literally at the centre of the country! Our church is a few yards off the Pennine Way (the spine of England) where it crosses the Leeds–Liverpool Canal (crossing the middle of Britain).

We use the Book of Common Prayer (1662) for our regular Sunday worship, and we are open every day. So, you are always welcome to step out of the busy world and step in to the stillness of our church and spend time in stillness of our church and enjoy some quiet reflection.
