Church of England Diocese of Leeds Broughton Marton and Thornton

St Peter's Church, Marton-in-Craven

Welcome to St. Peter's Church.

We are a community literally at the centre of the country! Our church is a few yards off the Pennine Way (the spine of England) where it crosses the Leeds–Liverpool Canal (crossing the middle of Britain).

As well as our regular Sunday worship, centred around the Eucharist, we are open every day and you are always welcome to step out of the busy world and step in to the stillness of our church and spend time in stillness of our church and enjoy some quiet reflection. So come and join us at one of our services. You will always be made very welcome.

"The parish of Broughton, Marton and Thornton is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Leeds’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
