Following on from extensive discussions around worship as a whole church, the PCC have made a decision to implement a new service pattern with effect from 1st March 2026. This decision has been taken prayerfully, and in conversation with the whole church family. Our belief is that the new services have the potential to support two flourishing congregations at St Peter's: one at 9.30am and one at 11am. 

9.30am - An Informal Service with Key Club - communion will be offered on the first, third and where applicable, fifth Sundays of the month. The first Sunday will be an All Age Service. Expect pared down liturgy and a mixture of modern worship songs and well known hymns, played over our sound system. 

11am - A Traditional Communion Service - offered weekly using the traditional format. Expect full liturgy, organ and or piano accompaniment, robes and processing. 

Coffee and refreshments will be available for both congregations at 10.30am
