Praying for our Team and Community

Please continue to use this prayer to pray for our Team.

The Church of England in Maghull and Melling Prayer

God, our Father, we pray for the Benefice of Maghull and Melling, the churches of St Andrew, St James, St Peter and St Thomas.

We ask you to give us vision, courage and joy as we seek your will for your Church in this place.

We commit ourselves to you and one another to live, work and pray as one body in Christ, doing apart nothing that we can do together, and to do together what we cannot do apart.

Guide and direct through your Holy Spirit, providing all the gifts we need as we work together to build your kingdom here.

In Jesus' name. Amen

A prayer from the Church of England resources:

In darkness and in light,

in trouble and in joy,

help us, heavenly Father,

to trust your love,

to serve your purpose,

and to praise your name;

through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN

And the Diocesan Prayer:

Loving Father,

by your grace we long to see

more people knowing Jesus,

and more justice in your world.

Help us to live as your disciples in the power of the Spirit

and to work to your praise and glory.

Amen.
