This service takes place on Wednesdays and all are welcome! We currently meet in the church hall while the heating is down.
A hot lunch, tea and cakes every Thursday (a plate for donations will be available). You are assured of a very warm welcome so please do come and join us.

Traditional Carol Service: come & join us for this special way to mark the Christmas season. Please note that it will take place in the Parish Hall (opposite the church) this year.
This is an informal style of church with lots of worship songs, activities, fun and fellowship. All are welcome: we usually meet at St Peter's Church.

Yes the one with the orange and the candle- this service is so popular and is a family tradition for many people ... so again this year there will be two Christingles (this earlier one at 2pm and a later one at 4pm): the same service, just pick the most suitable time for you and your family. PLEASE NOTE: this will take place in the church so come wrapped up warm ...but it will still be lively and fun!

The traditional start to Christmas - carols, placing the figure of Jesus in the Crib at Midnight as we welcome Christmas Day and share bread and wine together. All welcome.

Join with members of all five congregations to worship together at St James: all very welcome. Come for 9.45 if you'd like to join in with Team prayers beforehand. Please note that there will be no service at the other churches this morning.
This will be a relaxed and informal time, but led and with songs, reflection on passages of scripture, pointers / themes for prayer etc. It is following on from the Prayer Course that a number of us did through Lent & Easter time, but is absolutely open to everyone, not just those who came to that course.
All are welcome to come and enjoy a chat with a cuppa and scone. There is always live music played on a keyboard. The next one won't be until 6th February now.
