Welcome to St Mary’s Selly Oak. We are an open, inclusive and diverse Christian community aiming to proclaim and celebrate the love of God for all.
We encourage the exploration of spirituality through prayer, worship and the Eucharist. Outreach is a priority for us, especially to children and young people. Through social events and activities, we hope to offer a warm welcome to everyone, both those exploring faith and those seeking friendship.
The parish of Selly Oak is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, (PSO). The Diocese of Birmingham’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO.
