About Us

We are a small friendly fellowship of about 50 local people ranging in age from babies upwards. We extend a warm welcome to everyone and our aim is to show the love of God in what we do as well as by what we say.
On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month we have a service of Holy Communion and on the 2nd and 4th Sundays it is a service of the word.  We start at 10.00 a.m. All our worship services are family friendly; during the first part of the service the children are with us for a short while then go out to Sunday Club for their own teaching but return to the main service for the final part of worship.   We are governed by the Parochial Church Council (PCC) who meet regularly to discuss aspects of leadership, worship, teaching and fellowship.  Members of the PCC are elected annually from the members of the church who are listed on the electoral roll and typically serve for three years.  Clergy are not elected but in attendance.  More information about the electoral can be obtained from the electoral roll officer [email protected].

Through the Community Project our church fellowship works in partnership with members of the local community delivering a wide range of activities for children, teenagers, families and older people.  We are inspired by the parable of the Good Samaritan to meet the needs of our neighbours through actions as well as words and strive to exceed expectations.

Governed by a board of trustees our mission statement is: St Thomas Community Project serves Garretts Green by working with local people, in partnership with other organisations, using available resources to contribute to the well-being and vitality of the whole community
