The church hall suffered severe damage in early 2021, but following various inspections, the process of planning its repair is now in hand, albeit at an early stage. For now, the facilities of the hall (including loos) are not available. The work will, of course, be undertaken in full consultation with the Local Authority and with Birmingham Diocese, to ensure compliance with modern standards.

In recent weeks, the hall has suffered further damage through vandalism, and we are grateful for the free assistance we have received in counteracting the effects of this.

We are now very close to going out to tender, for the necessary re-building work. 

Fund-raising: Our recent Art Exhibition was well-attended and drew lots of compliments for local artists, well as raising money as donations. The Promises Auction and Auction of Artworks that followed was successful, and raised a welcome sum of money despite heavy rain. Since then, the proceeds from a "Rock n' Roll" evening have also been dedicated to the Church Hall fund, and this added £900 to the fund. Our thanks to all those who contributed to these events!
