St Peter’s is committed to making sure that everyone can worship and attend church safely.

Our parish of North Lambeth is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Southwark’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.

We have two Parish Safeguarding Officers appointed by the trustees who work to ensure that St Peter’s remains a safe place for children and adults, including those who are vulnerable.

Any safeguarding concerns, including those regarding children, young people or vulnerable adults, should be reported to the Safeguarding Officers as soon as possible. These will always be dealt with quickly and sensitively, including by signposting people to additional services if necessary.
