Several public car parks to the East End of the church. (St Mary's does not have its own car park).
In Church House
Entrance to the church is flat, but we do have a ramp to enable you to visit all sections of the church. There is a ramp available too for Church House.
We have large print hymn books and service sheets.
We are an Inclusive Church and welcome all. If there are ways we can assist in you participating in the service, do let us know on arrival or beforehand.
Our Building
The church is open to visitors and for private prayer at certain times, but hours are limited and may vary. Do check ahead via the parish office if you are making a special journey.
We are a Grade 1 listed building.
Music and Worship
The bells are rung on Sunday mornings and evenings and other festivals. A peal is also rung on New Year's Eve and occasionally at other times.
We are a concert venue and welcome many from soloists to orchestras. Contact us through the parish office in Church House if you would like to make a booking.
A 3 manual Walker & Sons organ rebuilt and repaired in 2008/2009. There is also a linked 2 manual mobile console.
St Mary's Choir is a traditional SATB choir with a wide repertoire. The choir sings regularly at the 10.00am Sung Communion, at twice monthly Choral Evensong, and for additional special services at times. If you are interested in joining our choir we have vacancies for children aged 7 and above. There are also occasional vacancies for adults. Do come along and listen and find out more!
Groups, Courses and Activities
- Seekers (Sunday School) at some of our 10.00am Sung Communion services in term time
- monthly Sunday morning shorter service inclusive of younger families, One Body One Bread
- children 7 and upwards can join our choir

These can be arranged through the parish office.
Are available at the back of the church.
The church is open some of the time during the week, but times will vary. If you are coming specially to visit the church, please contact us beforehand to check opening times, to avoid any disappointment.
