Getting here

St Paul's Church, St Albans, is the local parish church for the Fleetville area of St Albans.

A warm welcome awaits you, whatever your age, background or previous experience of church. We are a lively church with over 400 members (including children and young people) across our three Sunday Services and aim to grow and equip people to be effective Christians in their daily life.

Our Sunday services: 8:30am (Holy Communion), and 10:30am (which has a full programme for children and young people).

We are an evangelical church, believing firmly in the vital importance of the Bible - God's word - in our worship, teaching and lifestyle. The Bible explains how everyone can enjoy a relationship with the living God, and this is our key objective."¨"¨

We are a charismatic church, pursuing the love, power and gifts of the Holy Spirit as vital to being able to live and function as a Christian. We believe in God’s power to heal and set people free from what binds them and in caring for the poor.

We seek to follow the example of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, and to share the Christian gospel with as many people as possible. To this end, we hold regular Alpha courses and other events to introduce people to Jesus Christ.

We have a range of groups and courses to help people grow and develop their faith and get to know others. We have a number of different small groups including homegroups and a 20/30's group with regular social and faith growing events.

Through the work of The Lantern services we aim to meet the personal, social and emotional needs of members of our community so that each individual can live life to the full.

We are part of the Church of England, St Albans Diocese, as well as the New Wine Network.

For more information see our website www.stpauls-stalbans.org or ring the church on 01727 846281. The Vicars are Jono and Diane Tregale and we have a staff team which includes a Children’s Minister, Youth Minister, and Families Minister.

Our mission:

We worship, honour and have an active relationship with God.

We hear Him through the Bible, prayer and prophecy.

We are a community that welcomes everyone.

We work together to empower people to use their individual gifts every day as God directs.

We support each other in our journey to become more like Jesus.

We expect God to use us in our places of influence, healing and setting people free in His name.

We intentionally invest in all, especially children and young people.

We seek to transform society by prayer, evangelism and action.

We work alongside other churches and organisations to bless St Albans and the wider world.
