Church of England Diocese of St.Albans Christ Church, Watford

About Us

We are a small but growing church with an accent on working with children and young families. Sunday School meets most Sundays during the service using the cafe area at the back of church. Overall our worship style is traditional but transitioning into something more contemporary.

Everyone is welcome at all of our services. Children (especially lively one) are very welcome and there's plenty of space for small, active, people to move around during the services.

Christ Church and St Mark's Watford is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of St.Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
