Update on Services in January 2021
Our area is in National Lockdown, due to the high rise in infection levels, which means that although we can meet in Church for a Service, we have decided to SUSPEND the Sunday Morning 11am Worship Service in Church and the Monday Morning Prayer 9.30am Service in Church. This decision will be reviewed weekly. Meantime, the Church will be open for Private Prayer only on Thursdays 10.30am - 11.30am
PLEASE NOTE: When you enter Church, please remember to sterilise your hands, and again, on leaving. Also, we will need to pay careful attention to social distancing requirements and maintain a 2 metres distance from each other, and wear a face covering while in Church. Thank you for your co-operation.
Worship Services will continue online with a pre-recorded Audio Sunday Service (see link below)
You can also access Services via Zoom as follows (access codes available from Rev'd Linda):-
NEW - an Online Sunday Worship Service via Zoom on Sunday mornings at 11am (please see "News from Priest-in-Charge" below for further information).
The Upper Room Service on Sundays 6pm.
Morning Prayer Service on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 9.30am.
When our Services in Church resume, we must be extremely careful and people must follow the restrictions on social mixing and adhere to social distancing between households. People must not mingle indoors in a service with anyone they do not live with and do not belong to their support bubble.
We understand that these challenging times can be difficult so please get in touch with Linda the minister, if you would like a chat, need support, or would value prayer. Please also contact Rev'd Linda on 01525 714442 for information about weddings, funerals or baptism.
The parish of Toddington is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of St.Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Most churches are “Excepted Charities” and are therefore not registered with the Charity Commission. You can download a PDF that includes your church name, address and church code. This PDF, which is an extract from the Church of England’s database of churches, can serve as a certificate for churches requiring proof of their charity status when registering for online and card-based giving. Click on the download button below and fill in the short form. You will then be emailed the certificate as a PDF.
