This year's theme for Safeguarding Sunday is 'Love Protects.'
Safeguarding is the protection of those in our care. In 1 Corinthians 13, we’re told that love protects. Safeguarding isn’t an external pressure or ‘thing to do’, it’s an act of love. And love is central to our faith.
There will be a Holy Communion in this service too, everyone is welcome!

St Mary's, Aspenden

We are a welcoming and inclusive church in the beautiful, rural village of Aspenden. Our style of worship is a traditional and reflective one, singing traditional hymns. 

Our usual pattern of Sunday worship starts at 9.30am and currently is:

1st Sunday of the month, Morning Worship

2nd Sunday of the month, All-Age Worship

3rd Sunday of the month, Holy Communion

4th Sunday of the month there is no service at Aspenden

5th Sunday of the month, one of the above. 

We serve refreshments after our 9.30am Sunday service and take this opportunity to catch-up with each other.

All are very welcome to our services and our church is open over the weekends if you would like to pop in to see inside or for prayer and quietness.
