St Andrew's
Welcome to St Andrew's - no one belongs here more than you
Following the example of Jesus, and seeking to model the inclusive love of God, we welcome all people whatever your status, wealth, gender, ethnicity, sexuality, age, health or mobility.
We believe that a church must first be a safe place in which to explore and to fail; where questions are encouraged and everyone is welcome.
WORSHIP: Worship in our church building is currently suspended but we meet together online via Zoom - we remain here with you and here for you. If you'd like to take part in our regular Zoom services, please get in touch with Phil at the church office email address ([email protected]) so we can add you to our mailing list. Or visit our website to find out more.
OPEN CHURCH: St Andrew's Church is open daily for private prayer from approx 9.00am - 4.00pm (times may vary slightly).
There is a prayer space by the main door where there is an opportunity to light a candle.

The parish of Hertford St Andrew is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of St Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
