St Mary's Ware
Welcome to St Mary's Ware
The Church building will usually open from 9am - 5:30pm daily.
During this coming week (beginning 11th April) times may change a little while volunteers open and close up to allow others a little post Easter break. There is just the one weekday service this week, on Monday 5th.
Please come in to light a candle, offer your prayers, enjoy a place just to sit and be, or explore the history and art of the building.
While we are all still seeking to respond well to the risk from COVID-19 please observe the notices and help keep everyone safe. To leave a prayer on the prayer board you will need to bring your own pen. Please use the hand sanitiser provided and, unless you are exempt, wear a face mask while in the building.
Services this week
If you are attending a service in church please wear a mask, sanitise your hands and observe physical distancing. Please do not attend if you have covid symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive or is awaiting a test result.

Let us pray:
The Collect (prayer) for this Sunday
Almighty Father, you have given your only Son to die for our sins and to rise again for our justification: grant us so to put away the leaven of malice and wickedness that we may always serve you in pureness of living and truth; through the merits of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. AmenA prayer for all those affected by COVID-19
Keep us, good Lord, under the shadow of your mercy. Sustain and support the anxious, be with those who care for the sick, and lift up all who are brought low, that we may find comfort knowing that nothing can separate us from your love in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.
A prayer on the death of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh
God of our lives,
we give thanks for the life of Prince Philip,
for his love of our country,
and for his devotion to duty.
We entrust him now to your love and mercy,
through our Redeemer Jesus Christ. Amen.
