Church of England Diocese of St.Albans Ware

St Mary's Ware

St Mary's is delighted to say that from Tuesday 16th June the church building will be open again, for personal visits and private prayer.

The doors will be open between 10am and 5pm daily. Please come in to light a candle, offer your prayers, enjoy a place just to sit and be, or explore the history and art of the building.

Please observe the notices and help keep everyone safe. To leave a prayer you will need to bring your own pen.

For the time being worship continues online. You can find service material on this website, and if you use facebook do like St Mary's page and follow along. Regular weekly services are currently 10am on Sunday and 11am on Wednesday. Other services will be notified here.

Let us pray:

The Collect (prayer) for the Third Sunday after Trinity

Almighty God, you have broken the tyranny of sin and have sent the Spirit of your Son into our hearts whereby we call you Father: give us grace to dedicate our freedom to your service, that we and all creation may be brought to the glorious liberty of the children of God; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever . Amen

A prayer for all those affected by COVID-19

Keep us, good Lord, under the shadow of your mercy. Sustain and support the anxious, be with those who care for the sick, and lift up all who are brought low, that we may find comfort knowing that nothing can separate us from your love in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.

This means that if you are considering buying something online through Amazon and if you go there from our site (by clicking here) en-route to your purchase, The church will receive a small percentage of the price paid. It will not affect the price you pay.
