St Mary's Ware

Welcome to St Mary's Ware

During the rest of January the Church building will usually open from 10am - 4:30pm daily.

From time to time the building will be closed briefly to allow for livestreaming or recording, or for a funeral to take place. This week the building will be closed on Tuesday 19th from 2pm - 3:15pm and on Wednesday 20th from 10:45am - 11:45am.

On Mondays - Thursdays Morning Prayer will be said at 9:15am and Evening Prayer at 5pm.

Morning Prayer will be livestreamed on facebook Monday - Thursday

Evening Prayer will be shared on Zoom on Monday and then livestreamed on Tuesday - Thursday. Please see the pew leaflet in the notices section of the website for the zoom link.

Please come in to light a candle, offer your prayers, enjoy a place just to sit and be, or explore the history and art of the building.

While we are all still seeking to respond well to the risk from COVID-19 please observe the notices and help keep everyone safe. To leave a prayer on the prayer board you will need to bring your own pen. Please use the hand sanitiser provided and, unless you are exempt, wear a face mask while in the building.

Let us pray:

The Collect (prayer) for this Sunday

Almighty God, in Christ you make all things new: transform the poverty of our nature by the riches of your grace, and in the renewal of our lives make known your heavenly glory; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen

A prayer for all those affected by COVID-19

Keep us, good Lord, under the shadow of your mercy. Sustain and support the anxious, be with those who care for the sick, and lift up all who are brought low, that we may find comfort knowing that nothing can separate us from your love in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.
