Welcome to St Mary's Ware

The church building is usually open 9am - 5:30pm daily. Please come in to say a prayer, light a candle, explore the building, browse the bookstall, sit and enjoy the space. For whatever reason you come - welcome.

Services this week 

The Daily Office this week: 

Morning Prayer, 9:15am Monday - Thursday, usually in the Lady Chapel

Evening Prayer, 5pm Monday - Thursday, usually in the Lady Chapel

Morning Prayer is also livestreamed to Facebook. The Office is available here: Join us in a service of Daily Prayer | The Church of England or by using the Church of England's Daily Prayer App. 

On Tuesdays Evening Prayer includes some sung elements and takes place in the Choir Stalls.

On Wednesday mornings in Lent Morning Prayer is said in the Hall, followed by a short Lectio Divina Bible Study. Open to all

God of compassion, whose Son Jesus Christ, the child of Mary, shared the life of a home in Nazareth, and on the cross drew the whole human family to himself: strengthen us in our daily living that in joy and in sorrow we may know the power of your presence to bind together and to heal; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen
