Little Munden School Choir:
The school choir will join us for our 10.30 service this week. They’ll be singing by themselves and with the benefice choir. Please come along and make them and their parents welcome. That service will be morning worship rather than our usual communion service.
Midweek Music:
This Wednesday at 12.30, the Midweek Music Concert will be given by The Wild Rose Trio with music for flute, oboe and recorders and accompanied by Michael Smith on the piano and keyboard. Refreshments will be available as usual from 11.30am. All are welcome.
Baptism next Sunday:
Next Sunday, 27th, is a baptism service in St Mary’s, but we have an extra baptism that same morning. At 9.00am, Stanley, who has been coming to our services and has joined the benefice choir, will be baptised in the river. All are welcome to come and support him. He will be at the 10.30 service too, as will Rosie and Daisy and baby Eden, who will be baptised, more conventionally for little ones, in the font! We look forward to seeing you there.
Sunday lunch at the Star:
Our next Sunday lunch will be on 27th July at 12.15pm at the Star in Standon. Please let Heather know by Monday if you would like a place and your choice of main meal (07909 065560).
Holiday Bible Club SOS:
We are worryingly short of helpers for the HBC, which will run from 26th to 29th August in St Mary’s. Many of our usual team aren’t able to commit to as many of the days as they have done in the past. Bookings are going well, but we are in danger of having to turn children away if we don’t have enough adults to comply with safeguarding ratios. Please pray about this and, if you’re able and willing to help, please speak to Caroline as soon as you can.

As usual, we will produce only one notices sheet (on the weekend of 3rd August) to cover the whole of August. If you have any news or notices for August or the first couple of weeks in September, please let Caroline have it.
Quiz Night advance notice:
