This is the second of our parish services this weekend where all are invited to come share in a time of remembering. This service is a traditional mass, with a robed choir, bells and smells. If you've not been to a mass before it is a truly beautiful way to mark this day of remembering. Everything you need to follow the service is in a printed booklet, and you are welcome to simply come sit or to join in. Others will be very happy to sit alongside and to assist at any point! There is an invitation to add the names of your loved one/s to our roll call and during the service names will be read out and candles lit - you are invited to come light a candle for your loved one - or if you do not step forward we shall light one for them as we continue the prayer. It is good to be together alongside those we know and complete strangers as we take this time to remember, give thanks, pray for our loved ones as we await the day where we shall be reunited in the heavenly realms.
