Remembrance Service - Mass and Act of Remembrance

for 1 hour, 15 mins
St Michael & All Angels, South Beddington
Milton Road Wallington, SM6 9RP, United Kingdom

To mark Remembrance we are joined by our scouting community for an all age Eucharistic service (mass) where we remember and reflect, on those who have lost their lives in war. At 11am we shall join with the nation for the 2 minute silence. Children of all ages are will lead us in our readings and prayers and our GSL (group scout leader) will lead our reflection. Crafting activities are available throughout and we love children of all ages to be right at the heart of the worship spiritually and physically.

St Michael & All Angels, South Beddington

Do Join us for our weekly Parish Mass every Sunday morning at 10.30am.

St Michael & All Angels, South Beddington is one of two churches within our parish, the other being St Paul's on Roundshaw.  Both churches are in the modern Catholic tradition. St Michael's stands clearly and unashamedly in the Anglo-Catholic tradition, whilst St Paul's offers a somewhat less formal style of worship. Both churches have friendly congregations drawn mainly from the local communities and a significant number of our parishioners participate in services, missional and social activities across the two.

We aim to be inclusive churches, welcoming everyone, whatever their age, ability, race, sexuality or relationship status and regardless of how much or how little faith they may have.  If you have any anxiety about coming through the door please reach out to our Vicar who will be more than glad to meet with or speak with you and accompany you along the way until you feel at home.

Our Benefice

Safeguarding

"Our parish of South Beddington & Roundshaw is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officers (PSO). Our Diocese of Southwark’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [Jenina Namweru or Sally Page] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [Pamela Chisholm, 020 7939 9423 or out of hours 020 3874 6743]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
