Parish Mass

Sung Parish Mass in the Catholic tradition of the Church of England. Bells, smells and robed choir and on the 1st Sunday of each month the invitation to come for prayers and anointing for healing after communion. We are begining to see more children and families on Sunday mornings and in response are rethinking some of what we do when we gather. Do come join us and be part of the conversation! Our next parish mass which will be particularly welcoming for families and all ages will be to celebrate Pentecost - come join the celebrations with activities, readings, prayers and storytelling that we share in together before celebrating the Eucharist with support of all our young people! We have a lovely children's area where young people of all ages are welcome to explore, sit and engage with during the services - we love having you in our midst but also know you like space to relax! Parents/carers are welcome to sit close by and keep an eye whilst everyone continues to be in the heart of the service. All are welcome!

St Michael & All Angels, South Beddington

St Michael & All Angels, South Beddington is one of two churches within our parish, the other being St Paul's on Roundshaw.  Both churches are in the modern Catholic tradition. St Michael's stands clearly and unashamedly in the Anglo-Catholic tradition, whilst St Paul's offers a somewhat less formal style of worship. Both churches have friendly congregations drawn mainly from the local communities and a number of our parishioners attend services and social activites across the two.  We are active in our local community, with strong links to 3rd Beddington Scout Group and growing links with our primary and secondary schools.  A weekly foodbank at St Michael's and Thursday children's club (St Mike's Tykes) as well as a lunch club for the elderly at St Pauls are just a few of the ways our faith is lived out in community through the week.

Our doors are Open at both churches across the week (although not currently all day or every day) and you are welcome whether you wish to sit quietly or join with others for prayer, worship and/or activities and chat. For one off special events and services i please check out our website/noticeboards or register for our weekly newsletter by emailing [email protected].
