We are part of a network of local churches working with and alongside Sutton Community Works to support our local community in times of need. One part of that support is with access to food and the opportunity to see an advice worker from the Citizens Advice Bureau. Whilst our foodbank is open every week, you will require a voucher before we can offer you food. To secure a voucher, please take a look at this page and contact one of the agencies here: https://sutton.foodbank.org.uk/get-help/how-to-get-help/ We hope we can support you in your time of need, and hope also you will feel most welcome in our church. Do stay for a cuppa, chat with our volunteers and if you wish ask to see our Priest who is always glad to pop over or to contact you at another time.

St Michael & All Angels, South Beddington

St Michael & All Angels, South Beddington is one of two churches within our parish, the other being St Paul's on Roundshaw.  Both churches are in the modern Catholic tradition. St Michael's stands clearly and unashamedly in the Anglo-Catholic tradition, whilst St Paul's offers a somewhat less formal style of worship. Both churches have friendly congregations drawn mainly from the local communities and a number of our parishioners attend services and social activites across the two.  We are active in our local community, with strong links to 3rd Beddington Scout Group and growing links with our primary and secondary schools.  A weekly foodbank at St Michael's and Thursday children's club (St Mike's Tykes) as well as a lunch club for the elderly at St Pauls are just a few of the ways our faith is lived out in community through the week.

Our doors are Open at both churches across the week (although not currently all day or every day) and you are welcome whether you wish to sit quietly or join with others for prayer, worship and/or activities and chat. For one off special events and services i please check out our website/noticeboards or register for our weekly newsletter by emailing [email protected].

"Our parish of South Beddington & Roundshaw is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officers (PSO). Our Diocese of Southwark’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [Lauren Read & Sally Page: [email protected]] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [Pamela Chisholm, 020 7939 9423 or out of hours 020 3874 6743].
