Happisburgh: St Mary the Virgin
Happisburgh Church - here for everyone
A warm welcome awaits you at Happisburgh church, whether you are living locally or on holiday here.
We are working hard to enable the reopening of our church building for public worship, slowly, steadily and safely. In the meantime, contact us for our details of our Coastal Group service on Zoom.
Many in our community are at increased risk, and our priority is the safety of all.
The church building is currently open on Wednesdays, 1-2pm. All are welcome.
We regret that due to government restrictions on large gatherings, our fete will not take place this year.
We will be open for public worship on a limited basis from August.
The parish of Happisburgh is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults.
We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs.
The Diocese of Norwich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs.
If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
