Safeguarding

The care and protection of children, young people and vulnerable adults involved in Church activities is the responsibility of the whole Church. Everyone who participates in the life of the Church has a role to play in promoting a safer church for all.  This church fully endorses and supports the policy of the Church of England as laid out in "Promoting a Safer Church" which is attached below.

If you are concerned about a safeguarding issue in this Church please seek advice from the Churchwarden and Parish Safeguarding Officer, James Tulley, on 07974 181638 or the Rector, the Revd Sian Reading on 07464 963701, or if necessary report the matter to the Local Authority Social Care Services or the Police without delay.

The Diocesan Safeguarding web pages  can be found at:  https://www.dioceseofnorwich.org/about/safeguarding - this page has the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor’s contact details and details of how anyone can report a concern directly to the Diocese.
