Welcome to St Mary's Church

Join the Adventure – Discover Jesus, Grow Together, Share His Love

We are a church on an adventure with Jesus. Everyone is welcome here. Whether you have followed Jesus for many years, are just starting to ask questions, or simply want to explore faith, you are warmly invited to join us at any of our services or events.

Our church is a place where people can discover who Jesus is, build friendships, and learn how faith can make a difference in everyday life. You can come along as you are — there is no need to know anything about church beforehand.

We believe God welcomes everyone, and we do too.

Together we are learning to:

  • Discover Jesus and understand His message through the Bible, prayer, and time spent together

  • Grow together as a supportive community, encouraging one another in faith and life

  • Share His love and Good News through word, action, and service to the community

Wherever you are on your journey, you are very welcome here. We would love to meet you.

Safeguarding

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact Sue Foster our PSO on 020 8397 8333 or the Guildford Diocesan Safeguarding Team on 01483 790379 or email [email protected] Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
