Immanuel and St Andrew

Welcome to Immanuel and St Andrews, Streatham -'The Church on the Common.'   People from all walks of life and every age and stage are welcome to join us for our services on a Sunday morning as we worship God, support one another and seek to love and serve our local community.

We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSOs. The Diocese of Southwark’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

160 years ago the very first vicar of Immanuel church, Revd Stenton Eardley, founded a school for the children of local labourers. On Sunday 20th June 2021 we held a special service of celebration.
