Morning Prayer is a non-eucharistic service which can follow a diverse range of formats, from quite formal liturgy to services with themes that engage us in different ways - such as the Morning Prayer service last December on modern slavery. We started to offer Morning Prayer over a year ago and, so far, the format has included hymns, songs and a sung psalm, using easy-to-follow music.

Holmbury Church

Holmbury Church welcomes you!

Please join us for weekly services in the church at 10am on Sundays and online for weekly 'Self-Services', which mirror the church services and can be accessed on our website at any time. We're an active church community, ranging in age from 0 - 90+ and serving the village community and reaching out to the wider world.

The parish of Holmbury St. Mary is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Guildford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
