Hiring St Mark's Church Hall

St. Mark’s Hall is an attractive, well-equipped, modern building which is suitable for numerous activities and events.   It includes a large hall, a separate committee room, a fully-equipped kitchen and sound equipment.  There is a car park and the building has level access to all public areas.

The large hall is particularly suitable for parties, celebrations and training days but is also currently used for orchestra rehearsals, concerts, table top sales etc. so the space is adaptable for a range of uses.

The hall is available for hire at all times except weekday mornings during term time and Sunday mornings.

The main entrance to the hall is large enough, for example, to meet and greet guests or to register delegates.  The lobby gives direct access to both the main hall and committee room.

The hall is over 40 feet square and can accommodate around 80-100 people for a function.  There is a high ceiling which makes the hall feel light and airy.  The floor is carpeted.

Our committee room is suitable for meetings of up to 16 delegates.  With the furniture removed it can also be used as a small hall for a variety of purposes. 

The kitchen is fully equipped, including a catering cooker, dishwasher and crockery for over 100 place settings.  A serving counter connects to the main hall, although this can be closed off with a shutter if necessary
