About Us

Consecrated in 1844, the then Lord Redesdale had the church built and endowed the living. It is built high up on the side of a hill overlooking the Rede Valley. It is a pleasant building with fine oak pews and a magnificent reredos behind the altar. In the porch is a Roman altar and several interesting stones that have been unearthed locally.

The church continues to be open during the daytime every day, for visitors and prayer, during the Covd19 restrictions (there are disposable gloves, and prayers that may help you to know how to pray).
