Our Building

The stained glass window captures the Annunciation within the chapel.

The Annunciation, as recorded in the Gospel of Luke 1:26-38, is one of the pivotal moments in Christian theology. In this event, the Angel Gabriel visits the Virgin Mary to announce that she has been chosen by God to conceive and bear a son, Jesus.
Despite her initial surprise and questions about how this would be possible since she was a virgin, Mary's faith prevails. She humbly accepts her role, responding, “I am the Lord’s servant. May your word to me be fulfilled.” (Luke 1:38, NIV).

This event is celebrated as the moment of the Incarnation, when God took on human form, and is a significant feast in the Christian liturgical calendar.
