St George's Anglican Church, Paris

Welcome! St George's, established in Paris in 1824, is just a few steps from the Arc de Triomphe in a modern building from 1978. It houses an inclusive and welcoming international community with services in English, French and Malagasy (sometimes all together!). We have a strong musical tradition and enjoy good preaching and teaching alongside eating together - all formed by our understanding of sacraments ('outward and visible signs') of God's activity in our lives.

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to worship and, if you would like, to meet the community.

Safeguarding

The chaplaincy of St George's, Paris is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Europe’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
