Church of England Diocese of Coventry Berkswell

Berkswell - St. John Baptist

A thriving, family-friendly church. A presence here since the 12th century, we continue to welcome a strong  congregation to our services and various events.

During the lockdowns public services will not take place, however a service of Holy Communion is live-streamed from the church so you can join us on YouTube. The church is open for private prayer on Wednesdays from 10.00am to 12.00noon and on Sundays from 11.00am to 2.00 p.m. You are welcome to come into the church for prayer, peace and tranquillity. When not in lockdown we hold a said service of Holy Communion at 10 a.m. Sunday mornings, this is also live-streamed.

The parish of Berkswell: St John Baptist is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Coventry’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

For details of our Safeguarding Policy please contact the church office on 01676 529123 or  Parish Safeguarding Officer - Karen Morris 07952 542776. The Diocesan Safeguarding Team (24hr) can be contacted on 024 7652 1345.
