Welcome! Whether you are visiting us for the first time, returning after a long while, or attend regularly, we are delighted to have you with us! Visiting a church can feel unfamiliar if you do not know what to expect, so here is a simple guide to help you feel at home.

All our services are completely free to attend. You do not need a ticket or a reservation—simply turn up. If a specific special concert or performance requires pre-booking, it will be clearly marked on our schedule. While a collection plate or contactless donation point may be available to support the work of the church and local charities, giving is strictly optional. There is no formal dress code. Please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

When you enter through the main doors, our welcomers will greet you, answer any questions, and hand you a service sheet, hymnal, newsletter, or a combination. You may sit wherever you feel most comfortable. There are no reserved rows for attendees unless specifically marked for access needs. Our team is always nearby to help direct you if you need assistance finding a seat or finding facilities.

Everything you need to follow the service will be provided. All prayers & readings are in the service sheet, and hymns are usually listed on the two hymn boards in the front of the church, and also will be announced. We use a small green hymnal (in the pews), and a brown hymnal (handed to you when you arrive. The leader will invite the congregation to stand for hymns or sit for readings and prayers, but please feel free to remain seated if standing is uncomfortable for you. You are welcome to join in as much or as little as you like. There is zero pressure to sing, pray, or say responses if you prefer to simply sit and take in the atmosphere.

You are invited to come to the altar during communion. If you choose to take communion, please follow the ushers instructions for filling in at the altar rail. First a wafer is given, then followed up with the wine. If you would prefer to just take a wafer, you may return to your seat immediately after partaking. If you take wine, then remain in place until after you have had the wine, and then return to your seat. If you choose not to have communion, we invite you to have a blessing. Please bring your service book with you to the altar rail.

Everyone is welcome! We welcome people of all faiths, beliefs, and backgrounds. Our building is accessible to visitors with mobility needs. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome. A hearing loop system is available—please switch your hearing aid to the T-position.

Children are a valued part of our church family. Please do not worry about background noise or fidgeting during services! There is a dedicated children's area at the back of church with activities that we encourage you to use.
