Christingle service

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
All Saints Gosforth
Address
West Avenue, off Gosforth High Street Gosforth Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 4ES, United Kingdom

Join us for an interactive, family-friendly, festive service. The Christingle is a symbolic object used to help us celebrate the birth of Christ and the hope He brings. There are several parts: The orange represents the world, the red ribbon Christ's sacrifice, dried fruits represent God's creation and the fruits of the earth, and the candle represents Jesus as the light of the world. A great way to help little ones understand the Christmas Story! We would love to see you there.

Safeguarding

Our parish of All Saints Gosforth is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Newcastle’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact our PSO Kath Davies at [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Jill Thirlway, at [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
