Accessibility

Currently our Toilet facilities are out of action but the neighbouring Barton farm has allowed use of an outside loo if needed. N.B. This is not an accessible toilet

Car parking in the road outside the Church , there is also a large layby opposite and we have gated field car park space for larger services or festivals.

Compostable “ green loo” available in the old Sexton’s house in the churchyard. Can accommodate wheel chairs.

Car parking available down the road outside the church. Parking for clergy and disabled marked by top gate. Large field available beyond top gate if a larger number of cars are expected.

Defibrillator available in telephone kiosk by village green, a half a mile away from church.

Ramped entrance at top gate. Steps at lych gate.

Microphones for clergy and readers etc in use at each service.

Ask Steward for these at the door.

There is ramped access from the road to the church.


Our Building

Beautiful stained glass windows throughout the church.

The Church is open on a daily basis for individual prayer.

Church, lych gate, Sexton’s house, cob wall and two large tombstones in the churchyard all listed.

We are registered with Rocha Eco church and are completing our bronze award.


Music and Worship

Bell ringing before the 11.00am service twice a month.
Practice ringing on a Thursday evening.

Twice a month organ playing for services. Otherwise hymns recorded on the church iPad.
We are happy for our Organ to be used for practice and learners , agreement from the PCC required.

Holy Communion available on the fourth Sunday of each month.
Holy Communion available on the 5th Sunday of the month.


Groups, Courses and Activities

Volunteers manage the grounds maintenance .We have regular volunteers who cut and strim the grass in the Churchyard. There are also other work party events to complete specific tasks , these are run on an as needed basis. The Churchyard is being managed in a way that it is beneficial to wildlife, so we have longer grass margins and wildflower areas , these are only cut on an annual basis.


Help for Visitors

Guides and leaflets available on tables inside the church door.

We have a small kitchenette to the rear of the Church , this can be used for refreshments following our monthly family services or for special events and services.

Church open daily from 9.00 am - 4.00pm


Other Features

A box for donations available inside the church door.

The conservation area is within our churchyard. We have a number of interesting lichens on the gravestones, church roof and wall. A survey of species identified is available in the church for reference.
