About Us

St Mary’s has a small, hardworking and loyal congregation, which is drawn from many miles around. Worshippers are attracted by the beauty of this country church within just a few miles of Greater London, by the continued use of traditional language for its services and by the friendliness of its welcome

St Marys stands in the small hamlet of Farleigh. Services are held every Sunday at 9.30 am, with Mattins on the first and third Sundays of the month, and Holy Communion on the other Sundays. In summer, Compline services are held at 8 pm, , and are held by candlelight. We also have Compline by candlelight during Advent and in Lent, held at 4 pm in the afternoon.   All these services are in traditional language, based on the book of Common Prayer.

The attractive village hall was built in 1998 , with gifts from the Farleigh Court Golf Club, grants from the Diocese, and Friends of St Mary's. The Hall is the venue for St Mary's excellent teas , held in summer on Sunday afternoons. The church is open during the teas, if you would like to look at the 11th century interior with its War memorial window

We would be very pleased to welcome you to  the church at any of the services, or to tea in the churchyard in the summer
