Getting here

St Mary's is a medieval jewel. Built by Robert De Watville around 1080, it is largely unaltered. For nearly half the Christian Era, Robert's little church has stood in Farleigh, and the people of Farleigh and beyond have come to it to worship our Lord.  We welcome all those who visit our church today.

Services are held every Sunday at 9.30 am, with Mattins on the first and third Sundays of the month, and Holy Communion on the other Sundays. In summer, Complne services are held at 8 pm.

All these services are in traditional language, based on the book of Common Prayer.

The attractive village hall was built in 1998 , with gifts from the Farleigh Court Golf Club, grants from the Diocese, and Friends of St Mary's. The Hall is the venue for St Mary's excellent teas , held in summer on Sunday afternoons

Compline starts in May, and the Teas in June, and both continue until September. Teas are served in the church hall between 2.30 and 5, and the Compline services start at 8 pm, and are held by candlelight.

We also have Compline by candlelight during Advent, held at 4 pm in the afternoon
