Accessibility

Three toilets within the church building, plus a ramp that can be used for wheelchair access from the nave into the chancel.

The large public car park opposite the church is free on Sundays.

There is a large car park opposite the church which is free on Sundays and on the evenings. Additionally there are five car parking spaces outside the hall and the church

Our Building

St Francis is open for private prayer on Wednesday mornings from 10.30am until 11.30am


Music and Worship

Regular free lunch time concerts in the spring and summer months. Also used by The Hayes Symphony Orchestra as their main concert venue.

A 3 manual 'Allen' organ

The hymn book is 'Complete Anglican Hymns Old and New' and various settings of the communion service are used including the Rutter setting and Margaret Rizza 'Mass of Life'. There is a small robed choir


Groups, Courses and Activities

Youth Group meets every Sunday evening at 6.30pm in the church

We offer Alpha Courses in partnership with our neigbouring parish - St John, West Wickham

There are Beaver Colonies at St Mary, The Avenue, West Wickham (the other church in our Joint Benefice).

There are regular home groups that look at various study courses. Use the contact form for more information about the times and locations.

The CAP Money Course is planned. There are two trained CAP Money Coaches in the congregation.

On the first Saturday of each month we have a coffee morning from 10.30am until 11.30am held in the church. Proceeds are donated to the charity 'Action Aid'

The Cubs meet in St Francis' Church Hall on Tuesdays from 6.15pm to 7.45pm.

At 3.45pm every third Friday of the month at St Mary's Church, The Avenue, West Wickham

The 7th West Wickham Scouts meets in St Francis' Hall on Fridays from 7.30pm to 9.30pm

Youth Group meets every Sunday evening at 6.30pm in the church
