About Us

We are blessed with a small 12th century Church in a most beautiful setting.

Our Church offers peace, time for reflection and prayer both inside the building and outside in the grounds surrounding the Church.  There is a car park on the southern boundary. 

Parish Communion is celebrated each Sunday at 9.15am according to the Rite of Common Worship.  On alternate Sundays there is a celebration of Holy Communion at 8am or a full sung Matins at 11am. Both of these Services follow the Book of Common Prayer. Coffee and biscuits are served after the parish Communion when there is no Matins.

One of our challenges at St. Mary and St. Peter is to attract new people to the worshipping congregation.  There are no strangers at St. Mary and St. Peter, only friends we have not yet met and we offer a very warm welcome to all who visit.
