Safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults
We want everyone to feel safe and free to worship in our church services and to be able to take part in activities run by the church. With this in mind, St Matthew’s Church, Butterleigh, operates the Diocesan Policy on Safeguarding. The full policy may be accessed at: http://www.exeter.anglican.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Diocesan-Safeguarding-policy-for-parishes-May-2014-1-updated-10.10.14.pdf.
If you have a concern about the safety of someone or the actions of someone working with children or vulnerable adults, please speak to:
Our Safeguarding Officer, Maggie Smith 07380 247766 or email [email protected]
Or contact the Diocesan Team https://exeter.anglican.org/resources/safeguarding/safeguarding-team/
If you are a young person and you feel unhappy about something happening to you, call Childline on 0800 11 11.
Further details are on the notice-board at the back of the church.
