About Us

St Matthew's is a vibrant and inclusive church that sits in the heart of the community of West Wimbledon. We enjoy music, learning about the Christian faith, and engaging with our community. Our services are both formal and relaxed. We engage all our senses as we joyfully worship God through the words we say and sing, the images and vestments we see, the incense we smell, the bread and wine we taste, and the movement and ritual of the service. 

 Whoever you are, wherever you are from, whatever your background, Jesus calls you ‘friend’, and so do we.
