Lockdown update: Due to the serious situation we face, the clergy and PCC have reluctantly agreed to temporarily suspend services at St Barts. There will be opportunities to attend a service of holy communion at Abbotsbury church in Newton Abbot or to view a service online via our You Tube channels (details at www.newtonabbotparishes.co.uk). St Barts will be open for private prayer on Sundays and Wednesdays between 10am and 2pm. The situation is under regular review and worship will resume at Ogwell in (we hope) the near future.
The Benefice has set up dial a sermon for anyone who cannot get online or to a service the number is 01626 242213 running from 11am every Sunday.
"The parish of Ogwell: St Bartholomew is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Exeter’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
